" Asks for prayers for AsÃwaju as he takes over as President"
The Executive chairman of Amuwo Odofin local government of Lagos state,Engr Valentine Oluwaseyi Buraimoh has rejoiced with Muslim Faithfuls across the country on the completion of this year's Ramadan fast,urging them to put into practice the lesson learnt in the holy month
The council boss in a message from his Media office commended Muslim Faithfuls across the globe , especially in his local government for following the tenet as laid down by the holy prophet Muhammad,may peace be unto him,stressing that the lesson of piety,sacrifice, love and tolerance should reenacted even after the ramadan period
He also used the opportunity to reiterate the commitment of his government to continue to deliver on infrastructural development ,youth reorientation and Empowerment of the downtrodden in the society.
The council boss equally called on the muslim Faithfuls to remember in prayers as they go to Eid to pray for success of the inauguration of Asiwaju as president and commander in chief of the Armed forces of Nigeria
Engr Buraimoh in his words " let me felicitate with our Muslim brothers across the globe as they end this year's ramadan,I enjoin them to continue the lessons learnt in the holy month and remember in their prayers our president elect,Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he takes over the reins of government on May 29th"
The council boss finally wishes muslim Faithfuls joyous celebration and appeal that celebration should be in consonant with the teaching and practice of the holy Quran.
