Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer , National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB), Alhaji Adedayo Thomas, on Thursday paid a courtesy call on the Kenya Film Classification Board's Acting CEO, Christopher Wambua.
The duo discussed film regulatory issues of mutual interest to Nigeria and Kenya, including the proposed harmonization of content regulation in Africa.
KFCB is committed to collaborating with other content regulators in Africa and the world at large in a bid to create a facilitative environment and support the growth of the local film sector.
According to Alhaji Thomas "At NFVCB, we passionately share this conviction as well, and have been at the forefront of efforts to forge a common front for content regulators in Africa in order to access and advance the available opportunities for our local film markets and create a borderless distribution route for our contents"
The two Chief Executive Officers promised to jointly work together
