It's was a joyful and convivial atmosphere on Monday when political class and residents of Lagos Mainland local government and Yaba Local Council Development Area (LCDA) trooped out en masse to welcome back their immediate member of the house of Representatives,Hon Jide Jimoh popularly called JJ
The welcome back reception organized by the duo of the chairmen of Lagos Mainland local government,Hon Mrs Omolala Essien and Yaba LCDA , Hon Kayode Omiyale
In their remarks ,the duo of Essien and Omiyale described Hon Jide Jimoh as "God sent to the people of the two councils,commending him for the appropriate representation he have the residents while in the house
Political leaders that spoke at the Banex events Center in Sabo Yaba ,poured encomiums on JJ as fondly called for being a loyal and passionate party members
The occasion was also used by attendees to pray for long life,as well as for God's guidance in his future endeavors,while calling on him to continue to wax stronger in good health for the service of humanity
In his brief response,Hon Jimoh assured that he will continue to be available for service to the people,stressing that the people of Mainland have been good to him
The man being celebrated, hon Jide Jimoh was a former chairman of the local government on two occasions,a two term member of the state house of Assembly as well as house of representatives where he gave a good account of himself as a Legislator.
