The lawmaker representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency-l in the Lagos State House of Assembly Hon (Otunba) Stephen Olukayode Ogundipe (OMOJ'OMOLO) in partnership with UNDP Oshodi-Isolo Local Government and Rotary Club of Ewu sets to empower the good people of the Constituency in various skills acquisition program.
The programme that will be powered by Ogundipe who is also a Rotarian will focus on Hairdressing, fashion designing, Beads, and Soap Making as part of his Social Intervention Programmes.
Hon Ogundipe had earlier this week launched a Summer Coaching Classes for secondary school students to engage them meaningfully to spend their time judiciously while on summer holiday.
The classes for *OMOJ'OMOLO EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAMME* begin next week Monday 31st July till August end. The teaching period will run between 10 am and 1 pm daily from Monday to Friday.
Ogundipe while responding to the press said "Our children must be well and positively engaged during the holiday, since we all know that an idle hand is the devil's workshop".
We must ensure parents and constituents have rest of mind and this is the time to begin to mentor our children on the right path".
The programme will be rounded up with the presentation of books and other school materials with a TALK on Drug Abuse and the Environment. Meanwhile, some graduands from the skills acquisition programme will also be empowered with working tools and materials.
