The Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin local government,Engr Valentine Oluwaseyi Buraimoh has congratulated the amiable Governor of Lagos state,Mr Babajide Sanwoolu over his Electoral Victory at the tribunal ,describing his victory as "God ordained victory and affirmation of his acceptability by the majority of people of Lagos".
The council mayor in a press release from his Media department which he personally signed , praised justices who sat on the matter for going painstakingly and dispassionately examining the matter brought before the tribunal without any iota of interference from any quarters and delivering a landmark judgement that will serve as reference point in the future.
The Council Boss stated that the verdict is a testimony that Governor is the most popular and widely acceptable candidate during the gubernatorial election,which is as a result of the people oriented projects he executed and his humility as a public servant.. but rather join the Governor in his efforts at taking Lagos state to lofty heights..
According to him " let me congratulate Mr Sellable, workaholic Governir, amiable personality and above all humble public servant his well deserved victory at the tribunal on Monday. His victory, no doubt is a testimony to his general acceptability by the people of Lagos state ,owing to his pro- people policies and programmes"
"Let me also commend the justices for doing great job ,by the extensive and painstaking job done on the matter. This ruling no doubt will be a reference point in future. The opposition should join Mr Governor in his greater Lagos drive. The election has come and gone,the tribunal has ruled , declaring the governor as the candidate with the highest lawful votes,so,instead of another futile exercise at the appeal court he called the opponent to, joined the governor in the task of building a better Lagos should be the priority of all
