The Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights, Public Petitions and LASIEC, as part of its oversight functions, paid a working visit to the Lagos State Law Enforcement Training Institute (LETI).
The purpose of the visit, according to the Chairman of the House Committee, was to familiarise members of the Committee with the activities, objectives and challenges of the Agency as well as to promote the existing cordial relationship between the Committee and the Institute.

He added that the Committee also wish to carry out a thorough inspection of the facilities of the Institute, to know and interact with the leadership, exchange ideas on the challenges being faced by the Institute and how to offer the needed support where necessary.
The Chairman averred that the present Administration of Mr. Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu is committed to alleviating and finding solutions to myriads of problems faced by any Agency and to find solutions to alleviate such problems in earnest.
Hon, Ajomale, however, commended the efforts and proactiveness of the Head of the Institute in ensuring that the Agency is well grounded despite the challenges they are currently undergoing.
In her remarks, Mrs. Abiola Adeyinka, the Head of the Lagos State Law Enforcement Training Institute (LETI), reiterated the need for a proper and well-furnished office space which the Governor had approved. She also solicited the support of the Committee to ensure that the Institute’s planned projects are achieved in the shortest possible time.
She emphasised that the progress of the Institute will give a good public perception and impact positively the THEMES Plus Agenda of the present Administration.
Representatives of the State Law Enforcement Agencies present during the visit include LASTMA, LNSC, KAI and the CBD (Central Business District).
