Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has approved the reappointment of Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II as the 14th Emir of Kano.
The Governor also gave five former Emirs 48 hours to vacate all official residence and hand over former emirate properties to Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs
Emir Sanusi arrived the government house in Kano to a rousing welcome from the people ,who were joyous over his reinstatement
