Controversial singer,Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable ,has failed to meet his bail conditions and will have to remain in police custody
It will be recalled that the controversial singer was arrested on Tuesday night for his failure to pay fourteen million naira (#14million) debt incurred when he bought a car ,G- wagon from a popular car dealer in Lagos
The Lagos state police command's spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin,disclosed that the singer was unable to provide a surety ,so he will remain in detention pending when he will provide one
Hundeyin confirmed portable's arrest and explained that he only paid #13 million out of the #27million for the car and he has failed to pay the balance of #14million, which prompted the car dealer to report him
In his words ' Portable has been arrested ,he bought G- wagon for #27million ,paid 1/#13 million and refused to pay the rest ,claiming the vehicle was bad. We arrested him today"
