Amuwo Odofin LG Chairman, Engr Buraimoh ,Youth Leaders Call for Peace

 



Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh, the Executive Chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, on Monday convened a crucial stakeholders meeting with youth leaders from across the Local Government. The meeting was prompted by the nationwide protest scheduled for August 1st, 2024, and aimed to promote peace and non-violence among the youth.


Dr. Buraimoh emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the community, highlighting the negative consequences of violence and unrest. He encouraged the youth leaders to embrace constructive dialogue and peaceful expression of grievances, rather than resorting to destructive actions.
