The member representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency-1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly and the Chairman, House Committee on Information, Strategy and Security Hon. Ogundipe Stephen Olukayode, with other professionals will lead the Public Image Seminar for Rotarians, non-Rotarians, journalists, public relations and advertising practitioners, bloggers, and graphic designers organized by Rotary International District 9111 set to hold in October 2024.
According to Rotary District 9111 Pioneer District Governor, Rotarian (Dr.) Wole Kukoyi, the Chief Medical Director, Ace Medicare Clinic, Ota, “The Public Image seminar will be held on Thursday, October 3, at the Rotary Centre, GRA Ikeja, Lagos.”
The Seminar has the theme “Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC): Strategy as Magic for Promoting Public Image in Rotary.”
Speaking in the same vein, the Chairman Public Image Committee, Rotarian Olalekan Otun, said that the Executive Secretary, of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Otunba Biodun Ajiboye would chair the lecture and a Rotarian and Lagos State House of Assembly (LSHA) Chairman on Information, Strategy and Security Committee, Hon Stephen Olukayode Ogundipe, would be the Special Guest”.
He disclosed further: “The President, Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) & Head of Advertising Sectorial Group (HASG), Mr Lanre Adisa, the Chief Executive of Noah’s Ark would deliver the Keynote address and President, Association of Corporate Affairs Managers of Banks (ACAMB), the Head of Corporate Communications and Strategy, Polaris Bank plc, Mr Rasheed Bolarinwa, would speak on Public Relations as IMC Strategy.
Other speakers, he noted include: Head of Corporate Communications, Ecobank Nig Ltd, Mr. Austen Osokpor, who is to address Sponsorship; Head of Corporate Communications, Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA), Rotarian Tope Akande, who would speak on Outdoor Advertising and Senior Special Adviser to the Akwa Ibom State Governor on Lagos Liaison, Rotarian Michael Effiong, would talk on Branding.
The seminar aims to promote the positive public image of Rotary and foster understanding, appreciation and support for its humanitarian intervention projects in the communities.
