AKOD Pays Tribute to Late Mr. Kayode Raji at 8-Day Fidau Prayer/Final Funeral Ceremony





The secretary  of Ikeja Local Government (SLG) and Frontline Aspirant for the Chairmanship  of the Council, Hon Akeem Olalekan Dauda , popularly known as AKOD on Saturday  paid his final respect to the late Mr. Kayode Raji during the 8-Day Fidau Prayer and final funeral ceremony held in his honor. Mr. Kayode Raji, who served as the Assistant Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ikeja Local Government Area, passed away and was laid to rest on Saturday, October 12, 2024.

Mr. Raji was a respected and active member of the progressive political family.  He served as the Vice Chairman of  Ward B before assuming the role of Chairman following the death of the late Evangelist Osai, the former Ward Chairman of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), he has served the party in different capacities. Until his death, he was the assistant legal adviser, Ikeja Local Government of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Chairman of Justice Forum, Ward B. He was Known for his dedication, loyalty, and teamwork. Mr. Raji was instrumental in fostering unity and progress within the party structure.

AKOD, who had worked with Mr. Raji in the past as a former Ward Chairman and former LGA Youth Leader in Ikeja political family, expressed his condolences to the family and praised the deceased contributions to the party and the community. His presence at the ceremony was a testament to the respect and admiration he held for him, who will be fondly remembered for his unwavering commitment to the progressives' cause.

Lookmon Saliu, Mr. Tayo Aderinola, Mr. Austin Omoruyi, Mr Idowu, Alh. Olashewu, Mrs. Kambia, Mr. Olowookere, Hon. Sakiru Agunbiade, Mr. Seyi Olarewaju, Alh. Oslo and other members
