Amuwo Odofin Council Chairman, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh Honored as Xenophylic Administrator of the Year at CARF Awards 2024

 


Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh, the esteemed Executive Chairman of the Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, has been awarded the prestigious title of "Xenophylic Administrator of the Year" by the Citizen Accountability and Right Forum (CARF) at their 2024 awards ceremony. The distinguished event took place at Rights House, located on Adeniyi Jones Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos.


This accolade was presented under the leadership of Comrade Debo Adeniran, the President of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR) and Chairman of the Centre for Anti-Corruption and Open Leadership (CACOL). The CARF Awards are renowned for recognizing and celebrating individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to accountability and human rights in public administration.


Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh has been recognized for his innovative and inclusive approach to governance, which has significantly impacted the Amuwo-Odofin Local Government. His efforts in promoting transparency, enhancing service delivery, and fostering a community-centric administration have earned him this esteemed title.
