LAHA Member,Hon Ogundipe's 250 Candidates Complete JAMB form Registration

Wednesday, 19th February 2025, marked a significant milestone as the 2nd Annual Omoj’omolo Free JAMB Educational Programme, sponsored by Honorable Ogundipe Stephen Olukayode, popularly known as Omoj’omolo, successfully concluded the 2025 JAMB registration process.

The final batch of candidates underwent the biometric capturing procedure at the newly accredited JAMB CBT center, the only one in the entire Oshodi/Isolo axis, located at Alhaji Azeez Street, Beesam, Ewu.

Hon. Ogundipe’s dedication to educational empowerment was evident, with the entire registration process handled seamlessly by Overcomers Educational Consultancy, a reputable firm known for its expertise in GCE and JAMB registration processes.

The initiative, fully funded by Hon. Ogundipe, covered all associated expenses, including examination forms, transportation, and light refreshments. It also featured personalized guidance and counseling sessions, where candidates received advice on selecting suitable courses of study and appropriate JAMB subject combinations. These counseling sessions were tailored to each candidate’s academic strengths and weaknesses, as reflected in their WAEC results, ensuring they make informed choices that align with their career aspirations and improve their chances of securing admission into higher institutions. The candidates were organized into batches, with the final group completing their capturing process today, 20th February 2025.

Addressing the candidates before the commencement, Hon. Ogundipe emphasized the importance of focus and diligent study. He stated: *"When we started last year, it was a pilot scheme, and we recorded a remarkable 78% success rate, with many of our candidates securing admission into various higher institutions across the country. This year, we are building on that success. Please remain focused and dedicate yourselves to studying diligently so that you can pass this examination and become worthy ambassadors of this initiative."*

Hon. Ogundipe further assured candidates of his continued support beyond JAMB registration. He pledged to assist in securing admission placements, particularly for those who have chosen Lagos State-owned institutions such as the Lagos State School of Nursing, Lagos State University (LASU), Lagos State University of Science and Technology, Ikorodu, and Lagos State University of Education, Ijanikin.

The success of the 2nd Omoj’omolo Free JAMB Initiative highlights the transformative impact of targeted educational interventions within the community. Hon. Ogundipe’s visionary leadership continues to be a catalyst for positive change, fostering access to higher education and shaping the future of young scholars.
