LAND REGULARIZATION: LASG ENGAGES RESIDENTS OF OJOTA

 


The Lagos State Lands Bureau officials have engaged residents of Ojota on how to regularise their land documents and titles. 


Under the supervision of Permanent Secretary Lands Bureau, Mr. Kamar Olowoshago, the team led by Esv. Olayinka Wasiu, Director of Land Regularization, Esv. Kayode Bombata and Esv. Hakeem Bakare, recently held an informative session with residents of Ogudu Orioke in Ojota to educate and enlighten them on the importance of land regularisation. 


The Permanent Secretary of Lands Bureau, Mr. Kamar Olowoshago said the event held recently at Ojota is aimed at enlightening the community on the benefits of formalising their land ownership and the ease of these acquiring titles.


He said, “Our officials will provide valuable insights into the land regularization process, focusing on the efforts made by the state government to digitize and archive land records. The initiative is designed to enhance the transparency, accessibility, and efficiency of the land regularization process, making it easier for residents to obtain their land titles”.



Esv. Bombata and Esv. Bakare reassured residents that the digitization of land records is a key step in simplifying the process, providing a more seamless and transparent experience for all applicants. The team encouraged the community to take advantage of the opportunity to regularize their land ownership and contribute to the continued development of the state.
