As part of the strategy to enhance innovation and efficiency within the state civil service, the Ministry of Establishments and Training has commenced a two-day training programme to equip officers with intrapreneurial skills.
The training, which had 100 participants in attendance, was specifically designed for management officers in the state civil service and was held recently at the State Treasury Office in the Central Business District, Ikeja.
Declaring the training programme open, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Establishments and Training, Mrs. Olubusola Abidakun highlighted the importance of Intrapreneurship, stating that the programme would enable officers to identify opportunities, develop solutions and take initiative in improving governance.
Abidakun added that the training, which cuts across various cadres, will revolutionize the mode of operation of all MDAs and ensure that public servants are not just administrators but visionaries who will shape the future of public service.
She encouraged participants to seize the opportunity to upskill themselves as individuals and see themselves as innovators within the government, capable of making meaningful contributions beyond their assigned duties.
