OBA OLUGBENLE RECEIVES CUSTOMS AREA COMPTROLLER, JOINS OGUN STATE GOVERNOR TO COMMISSION OKE ERINJA/ERINJA ROAD

Yesterday, 4th March 2025, Comptroller M.S. Shuaibu, the Customs Area Comptroller of Ogun 1 Area Command, paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, the Olu of Ilaro, Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, and Chairman of the Ogun State Council of Obas. The visit was to seek his royal blessings and brief him on the latest developments in their operations.

Later in the day, Kabiesi graced the commissioning of the Oke Erinja/Erinja Road in Yewa South LGA by the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, marking another milestone in infrastructural development within the local government area.

Oba Olugbenle praised the dedication of the Dapo Abiodun-led administration, championed under the “Building Our Future Together” mantra, to infrastructural development in Yewaland and Ogun West at large. Kabiesi stated that, compared to past administrations, Ogun West has fared better under the present administration. He further appealed to the Governor for a 1km extension of the road to link Ilobi-Yewa.

In response, H.E Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, appreciated the usual bluntness of the Paramount Ruler. He noted that the commissioned road was a direct response to Kabiesi’s request during the town hall engagement session held in Ogun West.

Present at the commissioning alongside the State Governor were H.E. Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, Deputy Governor of Ogun State; Rt. Hon. Daisi Olusegun Elemide and Hon. Bolanle Lateefat Ajayi, Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly; Barr. Abraham Babatunde Ogunsola, Chairman of Yewa South Local Government; Commissioners, distinguished royal fathers, party leaders, community leaders, youths, and other dignitaries.
