To strengthen teamwork and enhance workplace productivity, the Lagos State Lands Bureau, in collaboration with Skills & Career Support Centre Academy Consulting, organized a Team Bonding and Retreat for staff on Grade Levels 1–12. The event took place recently at the Academy Guest House, Agidingbi, Ikeja.
The retreat, designed as both a strategic and wellness initiative, brought together staff across various departments for a day of team-building exercises, strategy sessions, and wellness activities to foster a collaborative work environment, promote staff well-being, and align collective efforts with the mission and vision of the Bureau.
Declaring the retreat open, the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Kamar Olowoshago, emphasised the importance of teamwork in achieving organizational goals. He highlighted that a strong and united workforce plays a critical role in driving productivity and delivering quality service to the people of Lagos State.
"This retreat is not just about stepping away from our desks," Mr. Olowoshago noted. "It’s about deepening connections, aligning our goals, and energizing our team to take on the future with renewed commitment."
He further expressed optimism that the retreat would serve as an avenue for learning, inspiration, and enhanced collaboration among staff.
The event was well-attended by management members of the Bureau, who joined in the various activities aimed at promoting team spirit and celebrating shared achievements.
