Ekiti State has achieved remarkable success and garnered significant continental attention at the 68th UNTourism Commission for Africa (CAF) meeting held in Abuja, solidifying its position as a burgeoning tourism hub in Nigeria. With delegates from 38 countries in attendance, the state's impactful participation was made possible by the unwavering support and visionary leadership of His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
The Ekiti State delegation, led by Amb. Wale Ojo-Lanre Esq., Director General of the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development, effectively showcased the state's vast tourism potential to an international audience. Delegates distributed comprehensive information packages, including fliers on Ekiti State's diverse tourism offerings and publications from the Ekiti Development and Investment Promotion Agency (EKDIPA) titled "Invest In Ekiti," generating considerable interest among attendees.

The strategic concessioning of the Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort was a prominent topic of discussion throughout the conference. Mr. Lanre Balogun, General Manager of Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort and Conference Centre, delivered a compelling presentation, underscoring Governor Oyebanji's deep commitment to this vital project and its potential to transform the state's tourism landscape.
Further captivating the audience, the Ekiti State cultural troupe delivered an outstanding and enchanting performance, drawing widespread admiration and significantly elevating Ekiti's presence at the international event.
