Just as Muslim faithful commemorate the year 2025 Eid-il-Kabir Celebration across the globe,the Chairman of the Lagos Chapter of the foremost transport union,the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW),Alhaji Mustapha Adekunle Adio popularly known as Tafa Sego has felicitated with them,urging that they celebrate the activities in moderation
The transport unionist also admonished transporters especially drivers not to drink while driving urging them to observe strict adherence to details,especially traffic laws.
In a press release on Thursday in Lagos, Alhaji Mustapha Sego appealed to motoring public to caution drivers who drive recklessly and report such to nearest office of the union
He equally called on security agents across the state to perform their official duties,before,during and after the celebration ,so as to make the state safe for all..
In his words "let me use this opportunity to felicitate with the Muslim faithful across the world , especially in Lagos state on the occasion of this Eid-il-Kabir,it's my prayer that we shall celebrate more of this. I wish us all joyous celebration"
"However,let me appeal to transporters , especially drivers to drive carefully and observe speed limit where prescribed and ensure safety at all times"he concluded
