The Lagos state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has threatened to sanction any council Chairman that lives outside his or her council area
The chairman of the state chapter of the party, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi made the disclosure on Tuesday,during the APC Stakeholders’ meeting hosted by the state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Lagos State House, Marina.
The stakeholders’ meeting was held to also launch the party’s campaign for the coming council elections in the state.
In his words “We won’t tolerate any council Chairman that lives outside his council area.Any council Chairman that is reported to live outside his council area will be sanctioned,” he said"
Pastor Ojelabi further advised the Chairmanship candidates to operate an open-door policy and operate people-oriented programmes
