The Enugu State Police Command has dismantled an illegal firearms fabrication workshop in Udi Local Government Area, Enugu, recovering assorted firearms and ammunition.
The operation, carried out on June 30, 2025, was based on credible intelligence and followed the arrest and confession of a suspect linked to the workshop.
Recovered exhibits include locally made and English-made guns, live and expended cartridges, generator sets, and firearms repair tools. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the workshop's owner, who fled upon sighting the police.
