The Lagos State Government through The Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) presented a Certificate of Completion and Fitness for Habitation to the Lagos Island East Local Council Development area following the successful completion of its newly constructed multipurpose building. The presentation, which took place during the commissioning ceremony, signifies that the structure meets all safety, structural, and regulatory requirements in line with the Lagos State Building Control Law.
Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, who officially commissioned the multipurpose building, personally presented the certificate to the Chairman of the Lagos Island East Local Council Development Area, Hon. Muibi Folawiyo, commending LASBCA for ensuring that all building standards were duly observed.
He noted that the new facility will enhance administrative efficiency and community service delivery within the local government.
On her part, the General Manager of Lagos State Building Control Agency, Bldr. Gbaye Florence reiterated the Agency's commitment commitment to promoting safe building practices and enforcing compliance to prevent building collapses across the state.
