The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has announced that it will be holding a special national prayer session dedicated to the peace, unity, and progress of Nigeria. The event is scheduled for Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the NASFAT FCT Zone Main Branch, Utako, Abuja, beginning at 10:00 a.m. prompt.
According to the organization, the prayer programme forms part of its commitment to supporting national stability through spiritual engagement, community mobilization, and moral advocacy. The gathering will bring together members, leaders, and well-meaning Nigerians to seek divine intervention for the nation at a crucial time.
In a statement, President of NASFAT, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, emphasized the importance of the programme, describing it as timely and necessary. He noted that Nigeria is in a period where prayers, unity, and collective action are needed more than ever. Alhaji AbdulRauf encouraged Nigerians of all backgrounds to participate, stating that the nation can achieve meaningful progress when citizens combine effort with sincere supplication. He reaffirmed NASFAT’s unwavering commitment to national peace-building and harmony.
Similarly, the Chief Missioner of NASFAT, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, expressed strong support for the upcoming prayer session. He highlighted that prayer remains a powerful tool for societal transformation and urged Muslims and non-Muslims alike to join in seeking divine mercy for Nigeria. Imam Onike added that the programme will include prayers for security, economic stability, leadership guidance, and the overall well-being of every Nigerian.
