OMOJ’OMOLO CARES SUPPORT 50 NEW FAMILIES WITH ₦1 MILLION CASH GRANT

In a remarkable display of compassion and sustained community empowerment, OMOJ’OMOLO CARES, an initiative of Hon. Ogundipe Stephen Olukayode, Member representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency-01 in the Lagos State House of Assembly on Sunday, November 9, 2025, extended financial support to 50 families with a grant totaling ₦1 million.

The gesture, which coincided with the Annual Thanksgiving Service of the Anglican Christian Fellowship (ACF) at All Saints Anglican Church, 1 Mabayoje Street, Oshodi, Lagos, marked the sixth edition of the family support programme, a cornerstone of Hon. Ogundipe’s community outreach and faith-based humanitarian commitment.

During the thanksgiving service, the Assistant Priest of the parish, The Venerable (Dr) Siji Kolawole, lauded Hon. Ogundipe for his selflessness, humility, and consistent dedication to the welfare of the people and the growth of the church.

“We thank God for the life of Hon. Ogundipe and his many contributions to both the church and the community. His recent Breast Cancer Awareness Outreach Programme hosted at the church clinic was a laudable initiative that brought the facility to public attention,” Ven. Kolawole remarked.

“No form of advertisement could have been better than the visibility that outreach provided. His interventions in the lives of the people and in the church will not go unrewarded,” he concluded.

Also speaking after the thanksgiving, Mr. Sunnie Ojeriakhi, Chief Executive Officer of OAKS Communications, a Lagos-based integrated marketing firm, commended Hon. Ogundipe for his continued generosity and people-oriented programmes.

Describing the lawmaker as “a bosom friend and a rare example of service-driven leadership,” Ojeriakhi further urged the OMOJ’OMOLO CARES team to consider expanding its health outreach initiatives to include men’s health programmes, such as prostate cancer screening and awareness.

The OMOJ’OMOLO CARES Family Support Scheme has become a recurring platform through which Hon. Ogundipe reaches out to indigent families, empowering them financially and socially. Over the years, the initiative has touched hundreds of lives across Oshodi-Isolo Constituency-01, cutting across areas of health, education, and economic relief.

As the programme enters its sixth year, it continues to reaffirm the commitment of Hon. Ogundipe Stephen Olukayode (OMOJ’OMOLO) to community service, shared prosperity, and the promotion of social welfare principles that remain at the heart of his representation in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
