The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA) has marked its 2025 End-of-Year Thanksgiving with a call on Lagos residents to remain vigilant and security-conscious during the festive season.
Speaking at the event, the General Manager of the Agency, Prince (Dr.) Ifalade Oyekan, FISN, advised residents to take personal and collective responsibility for security, noting that community cooperation remains vital to sustaining peace and safety across the state.
In his end-of-year address, Prince Oyekan highlighted several milestones achieved by the Agency in 2025. These include the professionalisation of the Neighbourhood Safety Corps, procurement of modern technological tools for officers, acquisition of landed properties, and the establishment of new command offices to enhance operational efficiency across Lagos State.
The General Manager commended Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for his unwavering commitment to a peaceful and habitable Lagos, describing the Governor’s consistent provision of operational tools, logistics, and institutional support as critical to the Agency’s successes.
Prince Oyekan also expressed appreciation to members of the Management Team and various specialised units for their dedication and contributions towards achieving the Agency’s set goals for the year. While acknowledging their efforts, he encouraged them to raise the bar and deliver even greater results in the year ahead.
The End-of-Year Thanksgiving featured a series of educative and inspiring programmes, which officers and personnel of the Agency described as impactful and morale-boosting, reinforcing their commitment to service and community safety.
