NNPC Foundation, on Saturday, 29 November 2025, clinched five top awards at the 19th SERAS Africa Sustainability Awards, including Most Responsible Organisation in Africa (Overall Winner), Best in Decent Work and Economic Growth, Best in Stakeholder Engagement, Best in Poverty Reduction, and the Africa Sustainability Professional of the Year, awarded to the Managing Director, Emmanuella Arukwe. The clean sweep places the Foundation at the forefront of corporate responsibility on the continent.
Managing Director Emmanuella Arukwe declared, “This top recognition affirms our position as a sustainability leader driving meaningful impact and lasting community development across Nigeria and beyond. This win belongs to NNPC Limited. This win belongs to Impact. This win belongs to Africa.”
These honours place the Foundation ahead of major institutions and affirm its leadership in delivering large-scale, verifiable programmes that directly improve lives, from restoring sight to over 6,000 Nigerians through cataract surgeries to equipping public schools nationwide with STEM textbooks and supporting over one million youth corps members.
