The Director General, Lagos State Sports Commission, Mr. Lekan Fatodu, has charged members of staff of the Commission to embrace teamwork in the new year.
He made the statement at the New Year Prayer Session held at the Molade Okoya-Thomas Indoor Sports Hall, Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.
Speaking at the event, Fatodu stated that the Lagos State Sport Commission is focused on inspiring transformation and creating pathways for improvement, noting that there are high expectations for continued successes and progress within the Sports commission.
According to him, achieving better outcomes is a collective responsibility of everyone involved. The policies and directions remains a positive reference in sports development.
He also encouraged all members of Staff to improve on the quality of job performance, engagement and responsibilities with pride in the identity of the Lagos State SportsCommission.
Fatodu acknowledged that the commission has achieved unprecedented victories and aims for further successes, emphasizing that Sports is seen as a powerful tool for diplomacy and community development.
“The leadership expresses gratitude for the team’s dedication and sacrifices, aiming for greater achievements in the future. The commission is determined to protect its identity and continue its success in sports development”, he noted.
