The Executive Chairman of Egbe/Idimu LCDA, Prince Idris Balogun, initiated a free bus ride scheme shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic to cushion the economic hardship faced by residents.

The initiative is primarily aimed at easing the transportation burden on residents of Alimosho, particularly amid rising commuting costs. At a time when many families are struggling with economic pressures, the scheme has provided significant relief, enabling residents to manage their daily expenses more effectively.

Speaking on the motivation behind the initiative, Prince Idris Balogun emphasized collective responsibility in national development. He stated, “All hands must be on deck for the Renewed Hope Agenda and to support the vision of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
