Senator Ndume Meets SGF Akume.



The Senator representing Borno South, Mohammed Ali Ndume, on Monday  paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume.


Although the meeting was held behind closed doors, it is understood to have focused on strategic consultations and planning around issues of national importance, governance, and continued development. Senator Ndume reaffirmed his strong commitment to the unity, progress, and electoral success of the All Progressives Congress (APC), while sustaining productive collaboration with party leaders both within the state and federal leadership.


Following the engagement, Senator Ndume and Senator Akume, former colleagues in the 7th and 8th National Assemblies also held a brief private discussion. 



The SGF expressed appreciation for the visit and acknowledged Senator Ndume’s consistent contributions to national development, party stability, and legislative experience, describing his role as valuable to governance and democratic consolidation.


Ndume remains widely regarded as a key figure within the APC, known for his political depth, grassroots connection, and firm commitment to national service.


The lawmaker was accompanied on the visit by Ambassador Auwal Gama of Kano State.
