NIGERIA POLICE ACADEMY MATRICULATES REGULAR COURSE 12 CADETS.



The Nigeria Police Academy yesterday welcomed a new set of cadets into its fold as Regular Course 12 was formally matriculated in a colourful and well-attended ceremony.

The event brought together key stakeholders and dignitaries, including the Honourable Minister of Police Affairs and the chairman Nigeria Police Academy Governing Council, Senator (Dr.) Ibrahim Geidam, CON, FCNA, FCPA, who was represented by the Director of Human Resources of the Ministry, Mr. Ikemefuna Ohanyere. Also in attendance were the Commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy, AIG Patrick A. Atayero, MSc (UK), MBA (USA), psc, mspsp; the Commandant of Police College Maiduguri, AIG Mu’azu Muhammad; principal officers of the Academy; deans; academic and non-academic directors; royal fathers; Parents and guardians; and other esteemed guests.
Addressing the newly admitted cadets, the Commandant, AIG Patrick A. Atayero, charged them to remain focused and disciplined as they begin this important journey. He reminded them that discipline, integrity, and dedication are not just expectations, but essential values that will shape their future roles as officers in the Nigeria Police Force.

The ceremony marked the official beginning of the cadets’ academic and professional training, setting them on the path toward serving the nation with honour and responsibility.

The Nigeria Police Academy continues to uphold its commitment to developing capable, principled, and service-oriented police officers equipped to meet the evolving security needs of the country.
