The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA) recently participated in a Security and Intelligence Seminar organized by the Societal Concerns Organization, aimed at strengthening security capacity and enhancing public safety in Nigeria.
The seminars focused on community-based security strategies and the use of drone technology for intelligence gathering, surveillance, and rapid response. Key areas covered included risk assessment, inter-agency collaboration, and the integration of modern technology into conventional security operations.
Speaking on the outcome, the General Manager, Prince Dr. Ifalade Ajasa Oyekan, FISN, expressed appreciation to the organizers for the insightful and impactful programme. He noted that the knowledge gained will significantly improve the Agency’s operational effectiveness and service delivery.
"By equipping LNSC officers and other personnel with these dual skills, the Societal Concerns Organization is championing a holistic approach to safety—combining "boots on the ground" community engagement with "eyes in the sky" technology" he added
He further reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to leveraging both community engagement and advanced technology in ensuring the safety of lives and property.
