In line with the security advancement agenda of the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and the strategic leadership of the General Manager of the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA), Prince (Dr.) Ifalade Oyekan, the Agency successfully conducted an In-House Training Programme on the deployment and operation of Body-Worn Cameras (BWCs) and Spy Cameras for selected officers across Lagos State.

The training, held at the Agency’s Training Facility, equipped eight (8) officers from various commands and beats with critical technical, operational, and ethical knowledge required for effective surveillance and intelligence operations.

Through the Governor’s continuous support for improved security architecture and the General Manager’s commitment to innovation, professionalism, and capacity building, LNSA officers were exposed to modern surveillance strategies aimed at enhancing transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency.

The programme covered key areas including surveillance technology, proper camera deployment, covert operations, legal frameworks, and practical field simulations.

Participants gained hands-on experience in the use of Body-Worn Cameras and Spy Cameras, significantly improving their readiness to tackle contemporary security challenges.

This initiative further reflects the unwavering dedication of Governor Sanwo-Olu and the LNSA General Manager toward building a safer, smarter, and more secure Lagos through strategic investment in personnel development and technology-driven security solution.
