She was a passionate worshipper and pillar of the Celestial Church of Christ, City of God Cathedral, Mother Celestial Olasinmi Akindele Odunmbaku was also a former Commisioner for Women Affairs and Social Development in Ondo State
Known by the endearing sobriety "Bulldozer" in political circles, late Mother Celestial Olasinmi Akindele Odunmbaku was highly regarded as a grassroots mobilizer and business woman.
She was born into the family of late Professor M. Olabode of the Akoko region of Ondo State. Her educational sojourn saw her attending Mary Hill Covenant School and Queens School, Ibadan, Oyo State. She also studied Business and Finance, majoring in Accounting at the University of East London. She is also trailed by a legacy of advocating for the thirty five percent affirmative action for women in Nigerian governance.
