NSCDC CONVENES QUARTERLY STRATEGIC MEETING IN ABUJA; CG DEMANDS ACTIONABLE INTELLIGENCE AND COORDINATION.

The top management echelon of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has convened its strategic quarterly meeting in Abuja, with a strong mandate from the Commandant General to drastically improve intelligence gathering across all formations.

Delivering the keynote address, the Commandant General of the NSCDC, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, emphasized that the quarterly briefing serves as a vital platform to brainstorm on evolving security dynamics and chart actionable strategies to move the Corps forward.

Professor Audi stressed that timely and actionable intelligence, channeled appropriately, remains the most potent weapon to confront and neutralize persistent security threats facing the nation.

"Collaboration, coordination, and cooperation are absolutely essential if we are to strategically respond to the threats bedeviling Nigeria's corporate existence," the CG stated.
He explicitly charged the participants, which included Deputy Commandants General (DCGs), Assistant Commandants General (ACGs), Zonal Commanders, and State Commandants, to foster closer synergy and work harmoniously with sister security agencies to ensure national stability.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Deputy Commandant General in charge of Technical Services, DCG Zakari Ibrahim Ningi, fdc, explained that the high-level meeting was convened at the instance of the CG to critically reflect on the operational engagements of the Corps.

DCG Ningi commended the Commandant General’s foresight in institutionalizing the quarterly meetings, noting that the platform consistently yields workable solutions to contemporary security challenges.
