POLICE ARREST 37-YEAR-OLD MAN WITH EIGHT HUMAN SKULLS DURING HIGHWAY STOP

A disturbing discovery has led to the arrest of a 37-year-old man, identified as Yusuf Adenoyin, after police allegedly found eight human skulls in his possession during a routine stop along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

According to reports, the arrest was carried out by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force Safer Highway Patrol during a checkpoint operation on the busy interstate route.

Authorities said Adenoyin was intercepted while travelling toward Lagos when officers conducted a search that reportedly uncovered eight human skulls among his belongings.

The shocking discovery immediately raised serious concerns and prompted further questioning by law enforcement officers.

During preliminary interrogation, Adenoyin allegedly told investigators that he was transporting the skulls from Ibadan in Oyo State to Osun State on behalf of a native doctor.

The suspect's claim has since become a major focus of the ongoing investigation as police seek to determine the origin of the skulls, how they were obtained, and whether other individuals may be connected to the case.

The recovery of human remains under such circumstances has sparked public concern, with many Nigerians calling for a thorough investigation to uncover the full facts behind the incident.

Authorities have not yet released details regarding the identity of the alleged recipient or whether any additional arrests have been made.

Police say investigations are ongoing and that further information will be made available as the case develops.

The incident serves as another reminder of the importance of highway security operations and intelligence-led policing in combating crimes linked to human remains trafficking, ritual-related activities, and other organized criminal networks.

For now, investigators are working to establish the complete circumstances surrounding the case and determine whether any criminal offences were committed.
