The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has received with deep sorrow the news of the passing of the Grand Amir of Hizbullahi International Prayer Outreach Ministry, Sheikh Sirajudeen Akanni Asukuna. His demise represents a significant loss to the Muslim Ummah, particularly to the countless faithful who benefited from his spiritual guidance, exemplary leadership, and unwavering commitment to the propagation of Islam. NASFAT extends its heartfelt condolences to his family, associates, and the entire Hizbullahi community during this moment of grief.
Reacting to the sad development, the President of NASFAT, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, expressed shock at the passing of the respected Islamic leader. He described Sheikh Asukuna as a devoted servant of Allah whose life was characterized by humility, dedication, and selfless service to humanity. According to him, the late Grand Amir's contributions to Islamic enlightenment and community development will remain indelible in the hearts of many generations.
Alhaji AbdulRauf further noted that Sheikh Asukuna stood as a symbol of faith, discipline, and commitment to the teachings of Islam. Through his leadership and counsel, he nurtured many souls and inspired believers to pursue righteousness and spiritual excellence. His departure leaves a vacuum, but his legacy of piety, wisdom, and devotion will continue to speak for him.
The Chief Missioner of NASFAT, Imam Morufdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, offered prayers for the deceased, asking Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive his shortcomings and accept his good deeds. He prayed that Allah grants him mercy, makes his grave a garden from Paradise, and admits him into Al-Jannatul Firdaus among the righteous servants of Allah.
NASFAT also prays that Allah (SWT) grants the bereaved family, the leadership and members of Hizbullahi International Prayer Outreach Ministry, and the entire Muslim Ummah the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss. While mourning his departure, we remain comforted by the noble legacy he leaves behind and the impact of his lifelong service to Islam. May Allah grant him eternal peace and reward him abundantly.
