Leading academics, researchers, education technologists, and innovation experts from universities across Nigeria have converged in Lokoja for the 8th International Conference and Workshop on Innovation, Technology and Education, with a shared commitment to advancing education through innovative technology and positioning Nigeria's education sector for global relevance and competitiveness.
The conference, organized by the Association for Innovative Technology Integration in Education (AITIE), is serving as a platform for experts to explore cutting-edge technological solutions capable of transforming teaching, learning, research, and institutional management in the rapidly evolving digital era.
Speaking at the event, participants emphasized that innovation and technology have become critical drivers of educational excellence worldwide. They noted that Nigeria must embrace emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, digital learning systems, learning analytics, and immersive educational tools, to prepare students and institutions for the demands of a knowledge-driven global economy.
