SANWO-OLU REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO SECURITY, LNSA BOSS SEEKS STRONGER COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to protecting lives and property, stressing the need for collective efforts to achieve a safer Lagos.

The Governor, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Abimbola Hudeyin, stated this at the 13th Annual Summit of the Association of Lagos State Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries (ALARHOSPS).

Speaking at the summit, the General Manager of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA), Prince Dr. Ifalade Ajasa Oyekan, FISN, described residents as the greatest strength of community-based security and called for stronger cooperation between communities and security agencies.
Oyekan urged residents to provide timely information and desist from tolerating criminal activities, while appreciating Governor Sanwo-Olu and Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat for their continued support towards strengthening the Agency’s operational capacity.

The summit focused on enhancing community-based security through stronger collaboration among security agencies, traditional institutions, community structures and residents.
