IKEJA LG INTENSIFIES REVENUE DRIVE AS AKOD'S COMPUTER VILLAGE ENGAGEMENT, ENFORCEMENT ENTERS DAY TWO

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has continued the Council’s revenue mobilisation and enforcement exercise in Computer Village, Ikeja, as the exercise enters its second day.

The ongoing exercise has recorded a high level of compliance with more traders, shop operators and businesses engaging with the Council and regularising their local government levies.

AKOD has personally led the sensitisation, speaking directly with business owners and explaining the importance of meeting their civic obligations to support sustainable development in Ikeja.
The Chairman also urged businesses yet to fulfil their obligations to take advantage of the ongoing exercise to regularise their payments, stressing that the Council remains committed to providing more services and development for residents and businesses.

The direct engagement has been welcomed by several traders, who expressed appreciation for seeing the Local Government Chairman personally interact with them.

The revenue mobilisation and enforcement exercise continues in Adepele Street and other parts of Computer Village.
