Worried by the low turn out of party members and residents in his local government at the Presidential Election ,the Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin local government,Engr Valentine Oluwaseyi Buraimoh has continued to drum support for the candidacy of the Governor of Lagos state,Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwoolu ,stressing that a reelection for him is a guarantee for continuous development in the state.
The youthful council chairman while addressing his Supervisory councillors,Special Advisers,Senior Special Assistants and special Assistants enjoined them to see the reelection of the Governor as ja ob that must be actualized and that he is ready to do everything humanly possible within the legal framework to assist them in the discharge of the assignment
He described the Governor as a performer who deserves a second term to Actualize his uncompleted projects and to continue his giant strides in the state.
Engr Buraimoh equally urged all the people of the local government to support,canvass and vote for the governor ,so that the dividends of democracy can be felt continuously in the local government,saying that the upgrading of the former primary health center to a general hospital by his administration was made possible by the Governor and that such a man should be encouraged
In his words " let me call on our people in Amuwo and Oriade to massively canvass and vote for the performing Governor,Mr Sellable and an Actualizer to ensure all the uncompleted projects he commenced are completed,while other lofty ones will be initiated. He is a man ,who made the transformation of our former PHC to a full fledged general hospital a reality. "
"To all political office holders and council staff, we are duty bound to ensure the success of Mr Governor at the poll on Saturday. So,let us go to our wards and zones to start the mobilization for the reelection of Governor Sanwoolu on Saturday. Be rest assured that I will support you with everything at my disposal that's within the confines of the law. We must deliver our vote for our Governor,that's the only thing that can be done to erase the unfortunate development in the last election. As the chairman,I won't rest until I see victory, but be rest assured,we shall monitor all of our SAs,SSAs, supervisory Councillors and other political office holders and whoever is found wanting shall be shown the way out" Buraimoh concluded.
