COSEG Calls on Lagosians To Vote Governor Sanwoolu on Saturday

Barely three days to the Gubernatorial election in Nigeria, the leadership and members of the umbrella body of self determination groups in the south western region of the country, the Coalition of Oodua Self Determination Groups (COSEG) has thrown weight behind the second term bid of the incumbent Governor of Lagos state ,Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwoolu

COSEG described the Governor as a performer, dependable,a thoroughbred Yoruba man and above all, humble leader, who has displayed uncommon commitment to good governance

The group in a press release signed by the Chairman of it's Coordinating council,Comrade Dayo Ogunlana praised the governor for his pro- people projects, the completion of the uncompleted projects of his predecessor, the red and blue line railway, the strengthening of the state security architecture,

provision of additional general hospitals, mother to child centres, health centres, provision of housing units, provision of loans to film practitioners, construction of film theartres  among other achievements

The group posited that Lagos is too sophisticated and too critical to Nigeria to be left in the hands of  uninformed and inexperienced administrator at this crucial period ,stressing that an Administrator of note with both private and public sector experience like Governor Sanwoolu should continue the laudable programmes and projects in the Lagos blueprint

The group however urged all residents in f Lagos to reciprocate the commendable efforts of the Governor by voting for him en masse on Saturday as a pay back for his commitment to the well being of all.

"We want to use this opportunity to call on our people in Lagos to reciprocate the good gesture of governor Sanwoolu, who has remained committed to the greater Lagos project by voting massively for him on Saturday. He has shown passion for progressive Lagos and that can be seen in all the projects he has completed and initiated and to reciprocate ,we need to vote for him ,so that he can continue the good work", the group concluded
