A former lawmaker, Hon Wahab Alawiye-King has congratulated the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on the occasion of his 71st birthday saying that he is prepared to serve the people and restore hope to the country.
In a message to congratulate Tinubu, Hon Alawiye-King said Nigerians freely gave their mandate to him because of absolute confidence that he will deliver on his electoral promises.
You will recall that the President-Elect had directed that in marking his 71st Birthday today, Nigerians should pray for the nation's leaders and peaceful coexistence in the country against the annual rituals of organising a Colloquium.
The LASUBEB boss was of the view that it is only in the atmosphere of peace that the nation can achieve desired development adding Nigerians should continue to embark on legal activities without harassment or intimidation.
Hon Wahab Alawiye-King also urged law abiding citizens to avoid playing into the gallery with those who do not wish the nation a seamless transition of power come May 29.
He however charged the President-Elect to accord priority to insecurity, unemployment, ease of doing business, improved health care, renewal of infrastructure and boosting of power supply when he assumes office.
