TRAFFIC RADIO URGES GREATER COMMITMENT FROM STAFF

The General Manager of Lagos Traffic Radio (LTR) 96.1fm, Mr. Tayo Akanle has charged the staff to remain steadfast and committed to the realisation of the mandate of the Radio Station.

Speaking at the quarterly staff forum of the agency, Akanle informed that it is only through commitment that the station can maintain the standard it has set for itself.

Akanle urged the workforce to continue to promote inter-departmental cordiality as it is the key through which teamwork and productivity can be promoted.

He stated further that all members of staff should distance themselves from peddling unconfirmed news stories and misinformation that can truncate the peace of the state because they are regarded as ambassadors of a media organisation.

While thanking everyone for their dedication and doggedness through the period of fuel scarcity and naira crunch, he stated that the welfare of the workforce is his topmost priority.

He declared that the agency has completed plans to effect salary increments as announced by Mr. Governor and will also pay arrears from January across the board.

The high point of the meeting was the emergence of Mr. Taiwo Oshinowo, Tunde Adeniji and Oyinlola Olayinka as Staff of the Month Awardees for January, February and March respectively.
