The Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture under the leadership of the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture, Ms. Abisola Olusanya continued its support farmers across Lagos State with Agriculture Value Chains Enterprise Support Programme.
The initiative was targeted at food production and processing clusters in Lagos State.
Farmers associations registered with the ministry in Amuwo-Odofin were captured as beneficiaries because of their several investment commitment to fish/poultry production and processing ventures.
The council chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh while delivering his speech thanked the state government through the Ministry of Agriculture for supporting farmers to thrive across the state. He also seized the opportunity to enjoin citizens particularly the farmers to support Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu's second term administration which will commence from the 29th of May.
Engr Buraimoh equally used the occasion to appeal to the beneficiaries to ensure they make maximum use of the opportunity provided by the state government
Fertilizers, fumigation kits and insecticides, deep freezers, generators were amongst the several farming instruments presented to farmers through their associations.
