"As Chairman of Conf 57 CPS Canvasses for Asiwaju"
Members of the Conference 57 Chief Press Secretaries of local government in Lagos state have been advised to continue to discharge their professional duties diligently.
The Advise was given on Thursday by the Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede at the Bi- Monthly meeting of the association held at the council Secretariat.
Oloyede while speaking with councils' press secretaries assured to continue to deliver on his campaign promises to the electorates urging the grassroots news managers to ensure adequate projection of their council bosses projects and achievements in office.
He also urged them to continue to work in accordance with the directives of their bosses for the overall development of their councils.
The Oshodi-Isolo council helmsman who was represented at the event by his Chief of Staff, Comrade Leke Banjoko equally called on all the council media managers to ensure compliance with professional etiquettes, stressing that the adherence to it, will ultimately add credence and authenticity to their reports.
In his welcome address at the event, the chairman of the association, Comrade Ayodele Ayeyemi thanked the council boss for his magnanimity in hosting the association and providing conducive environment for the July meeting .
Comrade Ayeyemi urged all the residents in the local government to support the administration of Otunba Oloyede stressing that having gone round the council area, he has seen the impactful projects executed by the amiable council boss.
Ayeyemi, in his address further appealed to Nigerians to continue to support the administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his drive to develop the nation.
