MC Oluomo,Associates Return to NURTW


  



Lagos Popular Transport unionist , Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde  Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo on Friday  formally returned   to the  National Union of Road Transport Workers, (NURTW),a union that he was the Lagos state  chairman before his suspension by the immediate past leadership of the union 


On Assumption of office, the new national president of the union , Alhaji Tajudeem Agbede assured that all the wrong decisions taken by the Baruwa led Executive will be looked into 


This,the National body of Union, this week lifted the illegal suspension banned on the Chairman of Lagos State Parks and Garages, Alhaji Dr. Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya. 



Meanwhile, a letter signed by the Acting General Secretary of the union, Comrade Kayode Agbeyangi said, “I am directed to notify you that your suspension from office as the Lagos state chairman of our great union is hereby lifted with effect from today, 1st of September 2023.”


The letter reads as follows: 


Sequel to our letter dated march 12 2022, Ref No. NURTW/NHQA.20/VOL/18/ 86 captioned “Notice of suspension of Musiliu Akinsanya from office as the Lagos State Chairman of National Union Of Road Transport Workers”. I am directed to notify you that your suspension from office as the Lagos state chairman of our great union is hereby lifted with effect from today 1st of September, 2023. 


The above decision was taken during an emergency Central Working Committee meeting (CWC) of the union dated 31st August, 2023 at the NURTW National Secretariat office complex, plot 1236 Sapele street Garki II, Abuja.
