Air Peace Marks Historic Inaugural Flight to London with Distinguished Diaspora Welcome Party




On Saturday, in a significant milestone for Nigerian aviation and international connectivity, Air Peace celebrated its maiden flight from Nigeria to London. 

This landmark event was witnessed by an illustrious group of Nigerian dignitaries in the United Kingdom, including Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo SAN, Acting High Commissioner Amb Cyprian Heen, Otunba Bimbo Robert Folayan, Founder and CEO of NDDIS; Her Excellency Mrs. Carolyn Onyebuchi-Adelakun, a foundational member of the APC in the Diaspora; High Chief Obi Cubana, Alice and Ugochukwu Onyema (the wife and son of Air Peace's owner), and Senator Andy Uba, among others.

In the early morning hours, these esteemed figures congregated at London's Gatwick Airport to herald the arrival of Air Peace's Boeing 777, signifying a new chapter in air travel between Nigeria and the United Kingdom. This event is a testament to the collaborative efforts of all parties involved and marks a historic achievement in enhancing the connectivity and relationship between the two nations.


Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo expressed his enthusiasm for this achievement, stating, "Today's successful inaugural flight is not only a milestone for Air Peace but also a significant step forward in strengthening the bonds between Nigeria and the international community. It showcases the capability and readiness of Nigerian airlines to compete on the global stage."
