A Lagos group, the Lagos People's Assembly (LPA) has commended the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu on the commencement of sales of subsidized food products across the State in order to alleviate the current economic hardship.
The group however advised the people of the state to embark on the purchase of the food in an orderly manner, so that the mission of the government will not be defeated at the end of the day.
LPA in a press release by its convener, Comrade Gbenga Soloki described the action of the Lagos State Government as a "commendable one, that should be emulated by other states of the Federation.
The group posited that the current economic situation is a temporary problem, but that efforts should be geared by all tiers of government to ensure that the unfortunate situation is mitigated, so that the populace will not suffer endlessly.
The LPA Convener promised that his group will also be on the field to monitor development at the different sales point and make reports to designated authorities.
