The organised labour in Nigeria on Tuesday suspended its industrial action on the new minimum wage for a period of one week
It was gathered that the postponement was necessitated to enable the labour participate fully in the tripartite meeting ,so as to come up with acceptable new minimum wage
The decision was reached this morning at the meeting of organs of the union,jointly presided over by Joe Ajaero of NLC and Festus Osifo of the trade union congress
Immediately after the meeting and its resolve to dutifully resolve the impasse as soon as possible, Laboiur leaders proceeded to the venue of the tripartite meeting at Nicon luxury hotel ,Abuja to continue the meeting
Lqbourleqders on Monday commenced the strike action to press home f9r higher minimum wage and between living conditions for its members
