Damilola Matuluko, a Nigerian woman, reportedly di€d on Friday morning, May 31, after she was crush€d by a metro bus in downtown Houston, US.
The bus driver was at fault for the terrible incident that occurred before 7:40 a.m. near Rusk and Smith, according to information.
Damilola, a city employee, was in the crosswalk at the junction and had the right of way when the accident occurred, according to the Metro Police Department.
According to investigations, as the signal changed to green, the bus turned onto Rusk and struck the deceased person fatally.
The Metro police said the bus was operated by First Transit. The police said the contract driver was cooperating with investigators. There were reportedly two passengers on the bus, but no other injuries were reported.
